HUB PS Case Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Regularly engage with patients to assist them with manufacturers’ patient support initiatives.

• Provide educational information about patient support programs.

• Collaborate with program managers, liaisons, and other roles that support manufacturers.

• Ensure timely follow-up regarding appointment scheduling and medication administration.

• Inform eligible patients about potential financial assistance options.

• Address and escalate patient concerns and urgent needs for prompt resolution.

• Support patient outreach, adherence calls, financial assistance programs, and other communications essential for customer service and satisfaction.

• Undertake additional tasks as required by evolving manufacturer demands.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in patient care services related to drug products.

• 1-3 years of experience in understanding, managing, and resolving customer service issues associated with drug products.

• Ability to manage a substantial number of individual patients for support needs.

• Familiarity with Major Medical Insurance.

• Understanding of pharmacy benefits.

• Knowledge of HCPCs codes.

• Conduct benefit verifications through both medical and pharmacy benefits.

• Capable of multitasking, providing follow-up, and prioritizing tasks based on urgency.

• Exceptional customer service skills for phone interactions.

• Comprehend manufacturer program requirements, including HIPAA, patient eligibility, and business rules for patient financial assistance programs.

• Understand the various channels through which patients can access drug products.

• Bilingual candidates, particularly those fluent in Spanish, are preferred but not mandatory.

• Ability to effectively multitask in a dynamic work environment.

• Must be eligible to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship or other employment support.
