This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +2 more states.
• Act as a vital member of the Account Team, overseeing on-site program management.
• Ensure that site teams adhere to and execute JLL and client requirements.
• Provide direct support for safety training, inspections, incident management, regulatory compliance, and workplace hazard prevention.
• Serve as the main point of contact for all HSSE-related requirements and activities.
• Relay HSSE needs and outcomes to account and business leadership.
• Enhance and develop JLL’s HSSE culture and training initiatives on the account.
• Offer technical expertise, strategic guidance, and support regarding HSSE regulatory compliance matters.
• Create and maintain the account training matrix.
• Collaborate with the JLL HSSE Life Sciences team to exchange best practices across different accounts.
• Conduct trend analysis and make necessary adjustments to management systems.
• Provide key performance indicators and risk metrics to both JLL and client teams.
• Oversee and analyze accidents, injuries, near misses, and good catches for trend identification.
• Lead or assist in investigations of serious safety incidents, root-cause analyses, corrective actions, and communications of lessons learned.
• Assist in environmental compliance initiatives under the JLL/client MSA/SOW.
• Maintain HSSE procedures, documentation, and records for the account.
• Support ISO 45001 and 14001 management system certification processes.
• Act as a primary client liaison for HSSE communications and activities.
• Bachelor’s degree in safety management, industrial hygiene, environmental science, or a related field.
• Over 5 years of experience in HSSE.
• Practical knowledge of Health and Safety tools and techniques, preferably in a Facilities Management setting.
• Understanding of relevant standards, legislation, codes of practice, guidelines, and operating procedures.
• Strong presentation and communication capabilities.
• Excellent organizational skills, proficiency in information management, and a collaborative management approach.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build credibility with colleagues and clients.
• Ability to identify root causes of issues.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
• General Industry OSHA certifications preferred (CHM, CSHM, CIH, CSP, CEP, etc.).
• Experience with GMP/GxP is highly desirable.
• Relevant professional certifications or a master’s degree is a plus.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
