This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the HRIS operating model and Workday roadmap for designated areas.
• Assist in the deployment of new Workday products, modules, significant enhancements, releases, and cross-functional HR technology initiatives.
• Manage vendors, address risks, oversee timelines, and evaluate adoption outcomes.
• Guide requirement gathering and complete solution design for business processes, workflows, approvals, notifications, reporting, integrations, and controls.
• Be responsible for Workday architecture and high-risk configurations within assigned HRIS areas.
• Establish and enforce change-control and release protocols, which include testing, migration, production validation, rollback planning, and implementation documentation.
• Manage Workday security and data privacy governance, conduct access reviews, and maintain audit documentation.
• Direct integration, data governance, reporting, and analytics standards; supervise data audits and complex issue resolution.
• Define the HRIS support and knowledge management model, providing Tier 2 and Tier 3 escalation support.
• Conduct root-cause analysis and ensure that procedures, job aids, training, and release communications reinforce user adoption.
• Collaborate with HR, Payroll, Finance, IT, Internal Audit, Legal/Compliance, and local HR to transform approved requirements into system solutions.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the HRIS Analyst team.
• Set standards for basic Workday data entry and guarantee cross-training, backup coverage, and business continuity.
• Establish governance and priorities for reporting and analytics in areas such as workforce, compliance, sustainability, and operational reporting.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, HRIS, Information Systems, Business, or a related discipline, or a suitable combination of education and experience.
• A minimum of six years of progressive HRIS/HCM experience.
• At least three years of practical experience in Workday configuration and administration.
• Proven experience leading at least one Workday module, major enhancement, or business process improvement from requirements to deployment and stabilization.
• Advanced knowledge of Core HCM, Workday business process configuration, security, reporting and calculated fields, data loads, and integrations.
• Experience managing cross-functional projects and vendor relationships.
• Intermediate to advanced capability in Workday functional configuration and troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of HR, payroll, total rewards, talent acquisition, recruiting, and employee lifecycle processes.
• Familiarity with Workday security, role-based access, segregation of duties, data privacy, audit controls, and change management.
• Working knowledge of Workday integrations, including EIBs, delivered connectors, web services/APIs, and integration monitoring.
• Proficient in reporting and data analysis, including the creation of custom reports, calculated fields, dashboards, data validation, and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong skills in project coordination, requirements gathering, testing, documentation, and change-adoption processes.
• Good judgment, risk awareness, and the ability to make decisions with incomplete information while escalating as necessary.
• Strong leadership, coaching, stakeholder management, vendor management, and effective communication skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, organizational skills, and capability to manage competing priorities.
• Proven discretion in handling sensitive information.
• Willingness to travel up to 5%.
