HRIS Integrations Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Facilitate technical discovery meetings with clients to comprehend integration requirements, data flows, and system limitations.

• Evaluate integration feasibility based on the capabilities of the HiBob API and the requirements of third-party systems.

• Collaborate with the Project Manager and HiBob Practice Lead to establish integration scope, assumptions, and deliverables.

• Design comprehensive integration solutions, encompassing data mapping, transformation logic, error management, and reconciliation processes.

• Suggest integration strategies utilizing native connectors, middleware, custom APIs, or SFTP.

• Produce and update technical documentation, which includes architecture diagrams, data mapping specifications, authentication and security requirements, testing criteria, and post-go-live runbooks.

• Construct and configure integrations using HiBob REST APIs, Make.com, Workato, Boomi, and custom scripts.

• Develop and maintain SFTP-based integrations for payroll, benefits, and other business systems.

• Conduct unit testing, end-to-end testing, and assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

• Roll out integrations to production, verify their functionality, and offer troubleshooting along with post-go-live support.

• Work with internal teams to share project updates, identify risks, and tackle technical issues.

• Participate in pre-sales activities, including solution design, technical guidance, and effort estimations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical experience working with HiBob (Bob) REST APIs, covering authentication, endpoints, rate limits, and data models.

• Demonstrated experience in designing, developing, and implementing API-based integrations between HRIS/HCM platforms and third-party systems such as payroll, ATS, benefits, or ERP solutions.

• Proficiency in at least one integration or middleware platform, such as Make.com, Workato, Zapier, or comparable tools.

• Experience in developing and managing integration scripts using Python, JavaScript, or PowerShell.

• Understanding of SFTP-based data exchanges, including PGP encryption and file format specifications.

• Excellent technical documentation skills, including architecture diagrams, data mapping specifications, and operational runbooks.

• Capability to independently oversee integration projects, prioritize tasks, and proactively communicate with stakeholders.

• Strong analytical skills and the capacity to troubleshoot intricate integration issues.

• Proficiency in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.

• Previous experience implementing HiBob integrations in an HRIS implementation, consulting, or client-facing role.

• Knowledge of HiBob Payroll Connect and payroll integration workflows.

• Experience integrating with North American payroll platforms like Paylocity, ADP, or Gusto.

• HiBob certification in any module or currently pursuing certification.

• Background working within a technology consulting firm, implementation partner, or systems integrator (SI) environment.
