HR Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Provide guidance and assistance to managers and employees regarding employment law and HR-related issues.

• Manage daily HR operations, encompassing onboarding and offboarding, personnel administration, vacation, sick leave, and parental leave.

• Assess legal obligations and implement necessary follow-up actions.

• Assist in payroll administration tasks.

• Maintain accurate employee master data.

• Draft, issue, and review employment contracts, contract amendments, employment references, policies, and similar documents.

• Ensure adherence to employment law requirements throughout all HR processes.

• Continuously enhance internal standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business law, preferably with an emphasis on employment law, first state examination in law, or a comparable qualification (e.g., certified HR specialist focused on employment law), along with initial relevant professional experience in an HR or employment law setting.

• Alternatively, a minimum of 4 years of pertinent professional experience in a similar role, such as HR Generalist, HR Manager, or within a law firm specializing in employment law.

• Solid understanding of employment and social security law, with the ability to apply this knowledge effectively in practice.

• Enthusiasm for engaging in operational day-to-day HR tasks.

• Excellent communication skills in German.

• Proficiency in English is a plus.

• Skilled in MS Office applications.

• Experience with Personio is an advantage.
