HR Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Serve as the main HR point of contact for onboarding, lifecycle events, and terminations.

• Handle sensitive employee relations cases, participate in calls or meetings, and prepare legally compliant documentation.

• Develop and maintain relationships with payroll providers, benefits brokers, and HR legal advisors.

• Provide clients with advice on benefits, compliance, and workforce planning strategies.

• Offer insights on labor laws and cultural subtleties in Southern Europe.

• Review and provide recommendations on employment contracts and risk mitigation strategies.

• Assist clients in navigating Performance Improvement Plans and ensure timely salary adjustments.

• Aid employees with their immigration and mobility requirements in collaboration with the Global Mobility team.

• Identify tasks that can be delegated, document processes, and ensure seamless handovers.

• Promote automation and AI integration to enhance HR processes.

• Oversee compliance governance initiatives across Southern European markets.

• Spearhead global initiatives aimed at standardizing and enhancing HR practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of HR experience.

• Proficient in both Spanish and English.

• Extensive knowledge of labor laws and a strong understanding of employment regulations throughout Southern Europe, particularly in Spain.

• Proven experience in managing complex employee relations.

• Outstanding communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.

• Familiarity with HRIS, Zendesk, Jira, Confluence, Tableau, Zoom, and Slack.

• Preferred knowledge of the Employer of Record (EOR) industry.

• Experience working in other Southern European countries, including Spain and Switzerland, is preferred.
