HR Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.

📋 Description

• Serve as the main HR liaison for onboarding, lifecycle events, and terminations.

• Handle sensitive employee relations matters, participate in calls or meetings, and draft legally compliant documentation.

• Develop and maintain relationships with payroll providers, benefits brokers, and HR legal consultants.

• Provide clients with advice on benefits, compliance, and workforce planning strategies.

• Offer practical guidance on labor laws and cultural considerations in Southern Europe.

• Evaluate and provide recommendations on employment contracts and risk management.

• Support clients in navigating Performance Improvement Plans and ensure timely salary adjustments.

• Act as the sole point of contact for employees’ immigration and mobility requirements.

• Identify tasks that can be delegated, document processes, and ensure seamless transitions.

• Promote the adoption of automation and AI to enhance HR workflows.

• Oversee compliance governance initiatives across Southern European markets.

• Spearhead global projects aimed at standardizing and enhancing HR practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of HR experience.

• Proficient in both Italian and English; additional languages are advantageous.

• Extensive knowledge of labor laws and a solid understanding of employment regulations across Southern Europe, with an emphasis on Italy (NCBA).

• Proven experience in managing complex employee relations issues.

• Outstanding communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.

• Technologically proficient with HRIS, Zendesk, Jira, Confluence, Tableau, Zoom, and Slack.

• Familiarity with the EOR industry is preferred.

• Experience working in other Southern European countries, including Italy, is preferred.
