HR Operations Specialist, German Speaking

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal, +3 more countries.

📋 Description

• Provide support for HR Operations across designated countries, overseeing onboarding and employee lifecycle activities.

• Act as a principal point of contact for clients and employees regarding daily HR concerns.

• Ensure adherence to local employment regulations and internal protocols.

• Recognize potential risks and escalate complex matters when necessary.

• Address HR inquiries and assist with key employment milestones.

• Accurately execute HR processes and contribute to enhancements, standardization, and operational excellence.

• Collaborate effectively with Legal, Payroll, Finance, Product, and external stakeholders.

• Assist with reporting, audits, HR administration, knowledge management, and operational projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in HR Operations, Employee Lifecycle Management, HR Advisory, or a comparable client-facing HR position.

• Strong understanding of employment law and HR practices.

• Capability to manage onboarding, employee lifecycle processes, and day-to-day HR functions.

• Ability to balance customer needs, compliance obligations, and business goals in a dynamic international setting.

• Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and project management abilities.

• Proficient in English and German (both written and spoken).

• Experience in an Employer of Record (EOR), global mobility, payroll, or international HR context (preferred).

• Experience aiding multinational clients across various jurisdictions (preferred).

• Familiarity with HRIS platforms and initiatives focused on process improvement (preferred).

• Additional European language skills and knowledge of employment law (preferred).
