This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil, +1 more country.
• Oversee the complete Philippine payroll process independently, which involves preparation, computation, validation, reconciliation, payment coordination, and statutory reporting.
• Execute and confirm payroll and withholding tax calculations.
• Compute and verify salaries, allowances, overtime, bonuses, incentives, deductions, adjustments, leave-related payments, 13th-month pay, final pay, and various other payroll transactions.
• Compute and confirm BIR withholding tax, as well as SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG deductions and contributions.
• Reconcile payroll, address discrepancies, and respond to employee payroll inquiries.
• Oversee payroll statutory filings, year-end obligations, records, reports, and accompanying documentation.
• Collaborate with Finance, banks, external payroll service providers, and government agencies.
• Manage HR administration throughout the employee lifecycle, covering hiring, onboarding, employee transitions, benefits administration, record-keeping, retention, and offboarding.
• Provide recruitment assistance through sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offer support, pre-employment activities, and onboarding.
• Partner with hiring managers and stakeholders to facilitate recruitment and candidate-to-employee transitions.
• Sustain effective HR workflows and daily administrative processes.
• Ensure adherence to Philippine labor, employment, payroll, and statutory regulations.
• Keep accurate and confidential HR and payroll records.
• Assist with HR and payroll reporting, audits, statutory filings, and other operational necessities.
• Execute additional tasks as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 5–7 years of pertinent experience in HR Operations, with direct involvement in payroll, employee administration, and recruitment.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience in independently managing the complete Philippine payroll process.
• Strong practical understanding of Philippine payroll and withholding tax computations.
• In-depth knowledge of BIR, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, 13th-month pay, final pay, and other statutory payroll requirements in the Philippines.
• Direct recruitment experience, including candidate sourcing and screening, interview coordination, offer support, and onboarding.
• Comprehensive understanding of Philippine labor and employment laws and regulations.
• Experience managing HR processes throughout the employee lifecycle.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail, particularly regarding payroll calculations and employee data handling.
• Ability to demonstrate integrity and professionalism while maintaining strict confidentiality.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with a proven capability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with employees, hiring managers, Finance, external providers, and other stakeholders.
