HR Legal & Labor Relations Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

๐Ÿ“‹ Description

โ€ข Evaluate employee relations cases that pertain to performance, attendance, misconduct, policy breaches, and other disciplinary issues.

โ€ข Assist the HR department with company-initiated offboarding processes, which include performance-related terminations, layoffs/redundancies, and other justified or authorized reasons.

โ€ข Review and aid in the preparation of Notices to Explain (NTEs), disciplinary notices, termination letters, administrative hearing documents, and associated correspondence.

โ€ข Ensure that all necessary documentation and due process requirements are adhered to prior to executing employment actions.

โ€ข Support labor-related matters and collaborate with external legal counsel as needed.

โ€ข Help in compiling case summaries, chronologies, evidence, and supporting materials for SEnA, DOLE, NLRC, and other labor-related proceedings.

โ€ข Monitor ongoing cases, deadlines, necessary submissions, and pending documentation.

โ€ข Review employee handbooks, employment contracts, HR policies, acknowledgment forms, waivers, templates, and other employment-related paperwork.

โ€ข Identify compliance deficiencies and suggest revisions to policies, documents, and HR processes.

โ€ข Maintain well-organized case files and standardized HR/legal templates.

โ€ข Keep abreast of pertinent Philippine labor regulations and inform HR leadership of any changes that may impact company policies or practices.

โ€ข Assess existing HR policies, employment documents, agreements, and templates, and recommend updates as required.


โ›ณ๏ธ Requirements

โ€ข In-depth knowledge of Philippine labor law, due process standards, disciplinary protocols, and termination procedures.

โ€ข Experience in supporting SEnA, DOLE, or NLRC cases is strongly preferred.

โ€ข Background in reviewing employment contracts, employee handbooks, HR policies, disciplinary documents, and termination paperwork.

โ€ข Excellent analytical, documentation, and business writing abilities.

โ€ข Experience in a BPO, outsourcing, staffing, or offshore organization is a plus.
