HR Generalist – JAPAC

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Deliver comprehensive HR support throughout the employee lifecycle.

• Assist in the adoption of AI-driven tools and technologies within the HR function.

• Collaborate with HR Business Partners to develop, execute, and manage HR operations across JAPAC.

• Provide support for Talent Management, Employment Relations, Performance Management, Engagement, Employee Development, Recognition, Compensation & Benefits, and HR Compliance.

• Work in partnership with HRBPs and Centers of Excellence to implement and enhance programs, policies, and initiatives.

• Establish trusting relationships with leaders and employees to foster effective communication and relations.

• Generate regular and ad-hoc reports that quantify people-related business metrics and outcomes.

• Conduct research and analyze data pertaining to assigned projects.

• Oversee and assist HRBPs with Performance Improvement Processes.

• Provide guidance to employees regarding HR Operations and Total Rewards inquiries.

• Ensure compliance with established policies and procedures while supporting their continual development.

• Assist with employee off-boarding processes, including Workday workflows, employee communications, exit surveys/interviews, and separation agreements.

• Report directly to the Sr. Director, HRBP - JAPAC, with a dotted-line reporting relationship to Regional HRBPs.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3+ years of experience in an HR Operational role within a similar industry or organization.

• Familiarity with employment laws across various JAPAC countries is advantageous.

• Preferred experience in a global business environment.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced setting and effectively resolve problems.

• Self-driven and proactive in identifying opportunities for innovation.

• Passion for utilizing AI tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in HR processes and employee support.

• Strong orientation towards results and goal achievement.

• Good judgment, ability to maintain confidentiality, and capability to work with minimal supervision.

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

• A Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred.

• Experience with Workday is highly desirable.

• Background in technical/services organizations is preferred.
