This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.
• Manage bi-weekly payroll processing
• Handle status modifications and RBT certifications
• Process requests for payroll reimbursements
• Oversee payroll taxes, registrations, and state notifications in collaboration with the Controller
• Complete monthly ACA measurements for new hires and year-end payroll tasks
• Administer benefits enrollment, status modifications, and terminations using Enroll 365 and Employee Navigator
• Track tasks and follow-ups in Employee Navigator
• Distribute benefits notices to newly hired employees
• Review benefit invoices and address issues with vendors
• Respond to and escalate inquiries regarding employee benefits
• Manage Awardco budgets and upload monthly recognition points
• Assist in benefits compliance and new initiatives
• Administer and monitor leaves of absence
• Communicate with employees and leadership about leave statuses and return-to-work timelines
• Conduct licensing audits and maintain employee records
• Process wage garnishments and state requests
• Oversee background-check renewals, DACS submissions, and roster upkeep
• Track CPR certifications and follow up on professional liability insurance
• Process employment verifications and census requests
• Support government reporting, EEO reporting, and workers' compensation procedures
• Monitor compliance and legal updates, escalating issues to the HR Director or COO
• Complete termination checklists
• Assist with attendance reviews, performance evaluations, compensation statements, accommodations, unemployment claims, and onboarding tasks
• Contribute to HR projects and initiatives
• Aid in handbook and policy updates alongside the HR Director
• Report directly to the HR Director
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an HR generalist or HR coordinator position
• Prior experience with Paycom or a similar HRIS platform is highly preferred
• Familiarity with benefits administration platforms such as Enroll 365, Employee Navigator, or equivalent
• Solid understanding of federal and state employment laws and compliance standards
• Exceptional attention to detail and capability to manage multiple priorities independently
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities
• Experience working in a remote setting
• Background in healthcare or the ABA industry is advantageous
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered
• PHR or SHRM-CP certification is a plus
• Reliable internet and phone connectivity while working remotely
• Capability to sit, stand, and walk for prolonged periods
• Ability to frequently utilize a computer, keyboard, mouse, and telephone for extended durations
• Proficiency in effective communication in person, over the phone, and through electronic means
• Ability to bend, reach, stoop, and retrieve office materials as necessary
• Capacity to maintain sustained concentration and manage multiple tasks concurrently
