HR Executive

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Identify and execute outbound recruiting campaigns for Weekday’s positions in operations, sales, customer success, engineering, and internships utilizing the Weekday platform.

• Evaluate candidates and coordinate interview schedules.

• Gather feedback from hiring managers and facilitate timely decision-making.

• Manage the offer process, conduct background checks, and oversee joining formalities.

• Take charge of the onboarding process from start to finish, including laptops, access, documentation, buddy assignments, and first-week planning.

• Maintain HR documentation, monitor attendance, manage leave, and input data for monthly payroll.

• Oversee exit processes, including final settlements, handovers, and exit discussions.

• Monitor hiring and personnel metrics such as time to hire, offer acceptance rates, and attrition.

• Collaborate closely with founders and team leaders.

• Ensure that all people-related tasks are executed accurately and punctually.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in recruiting, HR, or a combination of both.

• Experience in startup or agency recruiting is a significant advantage.

• Proven ability to close hires and transition candidates from “maybe” to “joined.”

• Excellent organizational skills; capable of managing offer letters, payroll data, and documents with precision.

• Clear and friendly communication skills with candidates and team members.

• Ability to navigate difficult conversations in a constructive manner.

• Competence in handling confidential information with discretion.

• Capability to act swiftly and resolve issues without a predetermined plan.

• Proficiency in establishing processes in the absence of existing ones.

• Comfortable working at a Monday–Saturday pace within a small team where everyone contributes.
