πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Provide support to the Inner London retail region by collaborating directly with a Regional Manager, four Area Managers, and store leadership teams.

β€’ Take ownership of the region's people agenda and deliver hands-on employee relations assistance.

β€’ Lead and oversee investigations, disciplinary actions, grievances, absence management, flexible working arrangements, and family leave cases.

β€’ Mentor and develop managers in effective people management practices.

β€’ Identify trends and underlying causes, implementing proactive solutions to minimize employee-relations issues.

β€’ Conduct training sessions on employment law, policy, and best practices.

β€’ Maintain a prominent presence in stores while coaching leaders and teams.

β€’ Collaborate with leaders and the Retail Recruitment Advisor to enhance talent attraction, development, and retention.

β€’ Assist in succession planning and identify opportunities for future talent.

β€’ Promote performance and talent discussions, ensuring development plans are established.

β€’ Support recruitment efforts, new store openings, and enhance hiring-manager capabilities.

β€’ Cultivate relationships with regional and area leadership teams.

β€’ Utilize people data and insights to sway business decisions.

β€’ Assist with People initiatives, projects, and change programs.

β€’ Foster engagement, inclusion, and leadership capabilities.

β€’ Contribute to the ongoing improvement of People processes, policies, and workflows.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ Prior experience in an HR Business Partner role within a multi-site environment, preferably in retail or hospitality.

β€’ Strong expertise in employee relations with the ability to manage complex cases independently.

β€’ A commercial mindset with the capability to convert business challenges into actionable people solutions.

β€’ Demonstrated experience in coaching and influencing leaders at various levels.

β€’ Solid understanding of talent management, performance, and succession planning.

β€’ Exceptional stakeholder management and relationship-building abilities.

β€’ Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working independently.

β€’ Strong organizational skills with the capacity to juggle competing priorities.

β€’ Right to live and work in the UK.
