Hospitalist Physician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oklahoma.

📋 Description

• Conduct thorough evaluations and manage each patient appropriately.

• Accurately document patient information using EMR, written notes, and/or dictation in a timely manner.

• Record patient histories and findings with clarity and precision.

• Exhibit diagnostic skills, interpret test results, and perform procedures effectively.

• Recognize relevant medical issues accurately and utilize appropriate procedures and testing.

• Prepare and timely sign reports related to medical records.

• Make suitable referrals to services and other healthcare providers.

• Ensure patient coverage is arranged twenty-four hours a day.

• Maintain admitting privileges at local hospitals and provide follow-up care where permitted.

• Report directly to the assigned Medical Director.

• Provide care for patients during their hospital stay.

• Interact with support staff in a timely and appropriate manner.

• Adhere to universal safety precautions in an environment with potential exposure to infections, blood and body fluids, electrical equipment, chemicals, lifting hazards, and workplace violence.

• Must hold an Oklahoma MD or DO license.

• Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written, are essential.
