This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama.
• Act as the hospital sales specialist for a designated territory in Birmingham.
• Achieve sales targets for Chiesi USA's CARE promoted hospital products.
• Engage with targeted customers to promote and sell products using approved techniques.
• Meet and surpass quarterly and annual sales objectives.
• Facilitate in-services and clinical discussions with physicians, pharmacists, and hospital personnel.
• Navigate through hospital formulary processes effectively.
• Execute territory business plans that align with both regional and national objectives.
• Build and sustain relationships with medical centers, pharmacies, physicians, medical staff, and others.
• Cultivate influential customers to act as local advocates and champions.
• Organize and conduct impactful meetings with targeted customers and colleagues.
• Implement special initiatives such as speaker bureau programs, symposia, and convention displays.
• Enhance sales and retention strategies to maximize business results.
• Collaborate with internal teams to fulfill customer requirements and facilitate the sales process.
• Create, update, and adhere to territory business plans.
• Prepare management reports and presentations.
• Present monthly sales reports while identifying trends, opportunities, and challenges.
• Achieve proficiency with products and sales tools.
• Manage the territory budget in accordance with company policies.
• Respond promptly to inquiries from management and customers.
• Complete training for new hires and pass product knowledge assessments.
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year university.
• Two years of sales experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and public speaking abilities.
• Demonstrated organizational and territory management expertise.
• Strong skills in building relationships.
• Proficient in presenting scientific information using visual aids, clinical reprints, and technical data.
• Basic computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Successful completion of new hire training and ability to pass product knowledge examinations.
• Capability to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple responsibilities with minimal oversight.
• Valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record.
• Comprehensive understanding of healthcare regulations, compliance standards, and hospital credentialing processes.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required hospital credentials.
• Successful completion of a drug test, including marijuana screening.
• Residence in the assigned Birmingham, Alabama territory is required.
• Experience in specialty pharmaceutical sales is preferred.
