Hospital Revenue Cycle Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana.

📋 Description

• Accurately and thoroughly input all patient information into billing software.

• Gather all necessary financial documentation to ensure complete and precise claims.

• Oversee daily census for admissions, discharges, interrupted stays, and room modifications.

• Confirm insurance coverage for every patient.

• Review new admissions in the billing software within 12 hours of their admission.

• Offer financial counseling to all patients.

• Keep comprehensive financial folders for each patient.

• Enter and validate patient data essential for admission.

• Check documentation needed to substantiate charges.

• Conduct daily charge audits and verifications within the billing software.

• Maintain detailed records in the billing software.

• Audit patients who have been discharged and inform RHIA for coding within 12 hours after discharge.

• Examine the Discharged Not Final Billed report daily and update accounts as necessary.

• Ensure that RHIA accurately and promptly enters diagnosis codes into the billing software.

• Provide support to Freedom Behavioral Hospitals as an employee of Marvel Healthcare contracted Solutions, LLC.
