
Hospital Account Executive – Point of Care Diagnostics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.
• Promote Abbott Point of Care solutions to healthcare facilities within the Southern Wisconsin region.
• Operate autonomously within the designated territory to spearhead commercial initiatives, enhance market share, and foster sustainable growth.
• Collaborate with internal support team members to pinpoint opportunities and formulate strategies that advance sales processes.
• Report directly to the District Manager.
• Meet sales objectives through effective management of sales cycles and territory.
• Sustain the existing sales base while acquiring new business in both new and existing accounts.
• Navigate intricate sales landscapes involving multiple stakeholders and evolving decision-making frameworks.
• Cultivate strong customer relationships.
• Design and implement sales strategies.
• Identify potential risks and develop as well as execute plans for mitigation.
• Utilize available resources in an efficient manner.
• Timely and accurately complete training modules, expense reports, sales forecasts, and other administrative duties.
• Deliver customer-oriented service while traveling within the assigned territory.
• Understand and adhere to relevant EHS policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Establish and uphold the effectiveness of the Quality System.
• A Bachelor's degree is required.
• 4+ years of pertinent sales experience or at least 1 year of sales experience with a Clinical background (BSN, MLT, CLS, RT, Cardiac Tech, etc.) is necessary.
• Residency within the territory is mandatory.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% within the assigned territory and to other business locations as needed.
• Openness to undertake occasional required overnight regional travel.
• Preferred: a documented record of consistent sales overachievement, such as being a President’s Club winner.
• Preferred: a stable ranking within the top 20% of the peer sales group.
• Preferred: experience in diagnostics, point of care (POC), laboratory, or capital equipment sales.
• Preferred: established connections with IDNs and hospital systems within the assigned territory.
• Preferred: strong proficiency in MS Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Preferred: high level of proficiency with Salesforce.com or a comparable CRM platform.
• Preferred: completion of multiple sales training courses and active engagement with effective sales methodologies.
