Hospice Veterinarian

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Deliver compassionate hospice and in-home euthanasia care for pets in their homes.

• Operate independently while traveling throughout Ventura, Thousand Oaks, Simi Valley, Oxnard, Santa Barbara, and nearby areas in California.

• Conduct a limited number of appointments each day at a relaxed pace.

• Support families by discussing end-of-life care and assisting them in saying goodbye with dignity.

• Respond to families' challenging questions with empathy and understanding.

• Engage in onboarding, mentorship, and continuous training opportunities.

• Manage a self-directed schedule, working 2 to 5 days a week or part-time appointments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS) degree.

• Valid U.S. Driver's License.

• Select 4 weekend days per month that align with your personal schedule.

• Capability to lift up to 50 lbs independently and up to 90 lbs with assistance.

• Completion of license verification, background check, and driving record assessment prior to the start date.
