Home Health Aide

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Deliver personal care services such as bathing, grooming, oral hygiene, dressing, and skin care.

• Assist with mobility, exercises, and range-of-motion activities as outlined in the care plan.

• Provide support to patients during meals, including preparation and assistance with feeding when necessary.

• Measure and document vital signs as instructed.

• Aid patients in self-administering their medications.

• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization in patients’ living environments.

• Monitor patients and communicate any changes in their condition to the supervising nurse.

• Record the care provided in accordance with organizational standards.

• Undertake additional responsibilities as required for patient care services.

⛳️ Requirements

• Valid Californian Certified Home Health Aide certificate.

• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).

• Possession of a valid driver’s license along with an insured and reliable vehicle.

• Minimum age of 18 years.

• Capability to read, follow written instructions, and accurately document care.

• Comfortable working autonomously with limited supervision.

• Genuine compassion and patience for patients who are ill, injured, or frail.

• Professional demeanor, tactful communication, and adherence to personal hygiene standards.

• Registration on the California Home Care Aide Registry is a plus.
