Home Care Worker – Part-Time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Deliver home assistance services, which include general cleaning tasks and making beds.

• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors.

• Wash, fold, and iron clothes.

• Prepare meals and shop for groceries.

• Assist clients with getting out of bed, showering, and dressing.

• Support clients in managing their medication schedules.

• Aid with mobility and therapeutic objectives.

• Provide specialized care for clients with significant needs, such as those with dementia.

• Offer social and emotional companionship.

• Transport clients to various lifestyle activities or appointments.

• Give family caregivers the chance to take breaks or attend to other responsibilities.

• Work autonomously, develop solutions for daily challenges, and seek managerial support when necessary.

• Ensure the delivery of safe, personalized, connected, and effective care to aged care clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• Certificate III or higher in Aged Care, Individual Support, or Disability.

• Minimum of 6 months’ experience in a similar position.

• Proficient in personal care, manual handling, hoist operation, and medication management.

• Valid Australian Driver's Licence.

• Own a roadworthy and insured vehicle.

• Available Monday to Friday, from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm (totaling 60 hours per fortnight).

• Must complete a Statutory Declaration before starting.

• Must undergo a National Police check prior to employment.

• Must complete a Working Rights check before commencing work.

• Must pass a pre-employment functional assessment prior to starting.
