Home Care Worker

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Deliver home assistance services to elderly care clients

• Carry out general housekeeping tasks and make beds

• Clean, mop, and vacuum floors

• Wash, fold, and iron laundry

• Prepare meals and handle grocery shopping

• Assist clients with getting out of bed, showering, and dressing

• Help clients with medication administration

• Support clients in achieving mobility and therapy objectives

• Offer specialized care for individuals with high care requirements, including those with dementia

• Provide social and emotional support

• Transport clients to recreational activities or appointments

• Offer respite for family caregivers

• Work autonomously and identify solutions to daily challenges

• Seek assistance from the manager when necessary

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 months’ experience in a comparable role

• Background in personal care, manual handling, hoist operation, and medication administration

• Valid Australian Driver’s Licence

• Possession of an insured, roadworthy vehicle

• USI number required for compensated CPR and First Aid training

• Completion of a Statutory Declaration prior to starting

• National Police check must be completed before commencement

• Working Rights check required prior to commencement

• Pre-employment functional assessment must be completed before starting
