Home Care Worker

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Deliver home assistance services including cleaning, bed-making, floor maintenance, mopping, vacuuming, laundry, meal preparation, and grocery shopping.

• Offer personal care such as helping clients out of bed, bathing, and dressing.

• Aid clients with medication management, mobility support, and therapy objectives.

• Provide specialized care for individuals with significant needs, including those with dementia.

• Extend social and emotional support to clients.

• Transport clients to various lifestyle activities or appointments.

• Offer respite care for family caregivers.

• Serve clients throughout Port Stephens and its neighboring areas.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 months’ experience in a similar capacity.

• Certificate III in Individual Support – Aged Care or Ageing & Disability.

• Proficiency in personal care, manual handling, hoist training, and medication administration.

• Possession of a valid Australian Driver’s Licence.

• Own an insured, roadworthy vehicle.

• USI Number is mandatory.

• Ability to work autonomously and address everyday challenges.

• Capacity to cultivate positive relationships with clients and their families.

• Prior to starting: Statutory Declaration, National Police check, Working Rights check, and a pre-employment functional assessment are required.
