Home Care Worker

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Deliver general housekeeping and home assistance to aged care clients.

• Make beds and perform cleaning tasks, including mopping and vacuuming floors.

• Wash, fold, and iron laundry as needed.

• Prepare meals and handle grocery shopping.

• Assist clients with getting out of bed, showering, and dressing.

• Help clients manage their medication intake.

• Support clients with mobility and therapy objectives.

• Provide specialized care for clients with high care needs, including those with dementia.

• Offer social and emotional support to clients.

• Transport clients to lifestyle activities or appointments.

• Support family caregivers by providing respite services.

• Work autonomously, identify solutions, and seek managerial assistance as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 months’ experience in a comparable professional position.

• Experience in personal care, manual handling, hoist operation, and medication administration.

• Valid Australian Driver’s Licence is required.

• Must have access to an insured, roadworthy vehicle.

• USI Number is mandatory.

• A Statutory Declaration must be completed before starting.

• A National Police check is necessary prior to commencement.

• Working Rights check is required before starting employment.

• Pre-employment functional assessment is needed prior to commencing work.
