Hmong Language Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Laos.

📋 Description

• Deliver precise and timely medical interpretation services between patients and healthcare professionals.

• Execute both simultaneous and consecutive interpreting tasks.

• Ensure the accurate application of medical terminology.

• Promote clear and culturally sensitive communication within medical environments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in both Hmong and English languages.

• At least 3 months of professional interpretation experience is required.

• Demonstrated expertise in the Medical or Legal fields.

• Availability for Over-the-Phone Interpretation (OPI), Video Remote Interpretation (VRI), or scheduled appointments.

• Strong listening, note-taking, and memory retention abilities.

• Professional setup compliant with HIPAA regulations.

• A wired USB headset equipped with noise cancellation features is necessary.

• Internet connection with a minimum upload speed of 10Mbps and download speed of 20Mbps.
