Hindi Transcriber – AI Voice Data Project

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Transcribe natural, unscripted Hindi dialogues for the purpose of training AI speech models.

• Engage in conversations covering various topics such as Finance, Travel, Healthcare, Retail, Telecom, and more.

• Complete the application process, including a 2–3 minute Hindi transcription skill assessment.

• Participate in evaluation, shortlisting, NDA signing, onboarding, and assignment of production tasks.

• Precisely transcribe conversational audio verbatim in Hindi script.

• Retain fillers, repetitions, stutters, false starts, and natural speech patterns during transcription.

• Manage Odia-English/Hindi code-switching, regional accents, and colloquial expressions.

• Identify and label unintelligible speech, overlapping dialogues, background noise, and other audio complications.

• Adhere to project-specific transcription and formatting standards.

• Maintain a transcription accuracy of 97% or higher while meeting assigned turnaround times (TATs).

• Review and amend work based on feedback from QA or reviewers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Native or near-native proficiency in Hindi, with exceptional reading and writing capabilities.

• 1–3+ years of experience in transcription, subtitling, captioning, speech annotation, or related fields is preferred.

• Strong Hindi typing abilities; a typing speed of 40+ words per minute is preferred.

• Excellent listening skills and a keen attention to detail.

• Comfortable working with natural, unscripted, multi-speaker conversations.

• Experience in handling multilingual or code-switched audio is advantageous.

• Personal laptop or desktop, reliable internet connection, and high-quality headphones are mandatory.

• Must sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) prior to accessing project audio and transcription materials.

• Ability to sustain a transcription accuracy of 97% or above while adhering to assigned TATs.
