HIM Outpatient Coder

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky.

📋 Description

• Evaluate clinical documentation and diagnostic findings

• Extract data and allocate ICD-10-CM and CPT/HCPCS codes along with modifiers

• Conduct precise medical coding for billing and reimbursement purposes

• Aid in internal and external reporting, research initiatives, and regulatory adherence

• Code services related to Emergency Department, Same Day Surgeries, Ancillary, Oncology, Outpatient Rehabilitation, Outpatient Psychiatric, and Interventional Radiology

• Comprehensive review of clinical documentation and diagnostic findings

• Capability to assign ICD-10-CM and CPT/HCPCS codes and modifiers

• Familiarity with medical coding for Emergency Department, Same Day Surgeries, Ancillary, Oncology, Outpatient Rehabilitation, Outpatient Psychiatric, and Interventional Radiology services
