Higher Education Regulatory Systems Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Evaluate the workflows related to academic program registration, institutional review, and assessment.

• Establish requirements for updating case and workflow processes.

• Provide guidance on data migration, public portals, and system integrations.

• Assist in planning for implementation and managing change effectively.

• Contribute to AlphaGov proposals by providing qualifications and narratives from past performance when authorized.

• Operate as a remote-first, project-oriented collaborator with occasional travel to client sites.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in higher education regulation, accreditation, or IT modernization in state education.

• Experience in requirements gathering and business process analysis.

• Comfortable working as a 1099 project-based consultant.

• Experience with NYSED or other state higher education agencies is a plus.

• Familiarity with low-code case management platforms such as Salesforce, ServiceNow, or Dynamics is advantageous.

• PMP certification is considered a plus.
