This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +9 more states.
• Conducts research and offers expertise, resources, and guidance on a variety of effective and innovative math practices.
• Shares knowledge and assists teachers by engaging in activities such as introducing new teaching methods, assessment strategies, and interpreting results, as well as preparing educational materials.
• Coordinates and facilitates the pilot programs for instructional materials and the implementation of software.
• Tracks student progress through K12’s interactive lessons and daily assessments.
• Coordinates and facilitates reading intervention programs for students in grades K-5.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
• A minimum of five (5) years of teaching experience.
• At least two (2) years of successful coaching or mentoring experience.
• Strong pedagogical knowledge of math content and the ability to apply critical thinking.
• Familiarity with state content standards and the capability to align them with the K12 curriculum.
• Willingness to embrace change and adapt to ensure outstanding student outcomes.
• Proficient in independent problem-solving and possesses a high level of organization.
• Understanding of how multiple project deadlines are interconnected.
• Capable of working independently, typically for over 40 hours per week.
• Must pass the necessary background check.
