Heavy Equipment Operator B – Auxiliary Transportation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Operate heavy machinery by engaging mechanical, hydraulic, and electronic controls following established operating procedures.

• Load and transport ore, slag, coal, ferronickel, and various other materials.

• Utilize wheel loaders, hydraulic excavators, motor graders, crawler tractors, and dump trucks.

• Maintain and enhance access roads with the use of a motor grader.

• Stockpile materials such as ore, slag, and coal.

• Remove skips utilizing a hook-lift truck.

• Water roads using a water truck.

• Deliver supplies and materials to various locations within the industrial plant.

• Monitor daily machine hours worked and record them in spreadsheets.

• Inspect and clean equipment at the start and conclusion of each shift.

• Support heavy equipment mechanics and lubricators in identifying and diagnosing issues.

• Adhere to policies and procedures pertaining to Operational Safety and Health, Environmental standards, Social Responsibility, and Business Integrity.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma.

• Completion of a technical course in Mining or Metallurgy is advantageous.

• Proven experience in operating heavy equipment, such as motor graders, crawler tractors, wheel loaders, hydraulic excavators, water trucks, dump trucks, and hook-lift trucks.

• Class D driver's license.

• Willingness to work shifts and regular daytime hours.
