Heavy Equipment Oiler

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Service and refuel heavy machinery, including scrapers, excavators, dozers, tractors, wheel loaders, water trucks, pick-ups, and supporting equipment.

• Check and replenish fluid levels, service lubrication points, and carry out routine preventive maintenance tasks.

• Maintain daily records of service, repairs, and maintenance activities.

• Assist in managing the inventory of service kits, lubricants, oils, and other necessary supplies.

• Coordinate equipment servicing tasks with production and maintenance team members.

• Conduct preventive maintenance on fuel and lube trucks as well as construction equipment.

• Repair damaged auto-greasing system injection lines and troubleshoot issues related to the greasing system.

• Follow both verbal and written instructions while effectively communicating with supervisors and colleagues.

• Keep the work environment clean and organized, including weekly cleaning of fuel and lube trucks.

• Complete daily work assignments promptly.

• Foster safety and productivity by ensuring adherence to company safety policies, procedures, and environmental regulations.

• Participate in morning safety meetings.

• Deploy spill kits and assist in the cleanup of any fuel or lubricant spills.

• Carry out additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.

• 1-3 years of hands-on experience in servicing heavy equipment and trucks.

• A valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record is necessary to operate company vehicles.

• CDL Class A or B with Hazmat and Tanker Endorsement is required.

• Proficiency in both spoken and written English is essential.

• Ability to read and understand safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.

• Proficient in basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.

• Capability to work early in the morning in low-light conditions using truck-mounted and portable lighting.

• Ability to type and use an electronic tablet for the Fuel Management System for scanning and logging purposes.

• Proficient in conducting daily pre-shift safety inspections on a Class 8 truck equipped with air brakes.

• Ability to safely operate the Fuel & Lube service truck on dirt roads with inclines of up to 10%, regardless of weather conditions.

• Proficient in driving a manual transmission semi-truck.

• Successful completion of a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screening is required.
