
Heavy Equipment Fuel & Lube Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oklahoma.
• Provide service and refueling for heavy machinery such as scrapers, excavators, dozers, tractors, wheel loaders, water trucks, pick-ups, and additional support equipment.
• Monitor and replenish fluid levels, service lubrication points, and carry out routine preventative maintenance tasks.
• Maintain daily records for service, repairs, and maintenance activities.
• Assist in managing the inventory of service kits, lubricants, oils, and other essential supplies.
• Coordinate equipment service tasks with production and maintenance personnel.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on fuel and lubrication trucks as required.
• Execute preventative maintenance on construction machinery as necessary.
• Repair damaged auto-greasing system injection lines on heavy equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to greasing systems.
• Adhere to verbal and written instructions while effectively communicating with supervisors and colleagues.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including weekly cleaning of fuel and lubrication trucks.
• Complete daily assignments promptly.
• Encourage safety and efficiency by ensuring adherence to company safety policies, procedures, and environmental regulations.
• Participate in morning safety briefings.
• Remain prepared to deploy spill kits and assist in the cleanup of fuel or lubricant spills.
• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.
• High School diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
• 1-3 years of relevant technical field experience in servicing heavy equipment and trucks.
• A valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record is essential for operating company vehicles.
• A CDL Class A or B with Hazmat and Tanker Endorsement is required.
• Proficiency in both spoken and written English is a critical requirement.
• Capability to read and understand safety regulations, operational and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
• Willingness to work early in the morning in low-light conditions using truck-mounted and portable lighting.
• Competence in typing and using an electronic tablet along with the Fuel Management System for scanning and record-keeping.
• Ability to carry out daily pre-shift safety inspections on a Class 8 truck equipped with air brakes.
• Skill in safely operating the Fuel & Lube service truck on unpaved roads with grades up to 10% under various conditions including dry, wet, or snowy.
• Capability to drive a manual transmission semi-truck.
• Flexibility to work at various project locations and continuously travel between sites.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screening is required.
