Healthcare Virtual Assistant – Registered Nurse

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Contact patients to deliver test results promptly and professionally.

• Generate and manage referrals for specialized healthcare providers.

• Request laboratory tests and imaging services.

• Organize and schedule patient appointments effectively.

• Maintain and refresh electronic medical records (EMR), ensuring both accuracy and compliance.

• Guarantee adherence to healthcare regulations, including HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.

• Utilize communication tools such as Avaya soft phone to engage with patients and healthcare providers.

• Undertake miscellaneous tasks to assist the healthcare team.

⛳️ Requirements

• RN License (Philippines or USRN) required.

• Minimum of 1-year experience as a Medical Virtual Assistant.

• Exceptional English communication skills, both written and verbal (minimum C1 level).

• Strong grasp of medical terminologies and practices.

• Proficient in EHR/EMR systems and capable of troubleshooting common technical issues.

• Knowledge of healthcare privacy regulations.

• Strong organizational and time management abilities with a keen eye for detail.

• Familiarity with desktop sharing, cloud services, and VoIP technologies.

• Availability to work during graveyard shifts.

• USB headset with noise-cancellation capability.

• Working webcam required.

• Primary and backup computer with at least a 1.8 GHz processor and 4GB RAM.

• Primary internet service with a minimum of 25 Mbps wired connection.

• Backup internet service with at least 10 Mbps speed.

• Specialization or experience in patient care, family medicine, acute care, or clinical environments is preferred.
