This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Address customer inquiries and deliver accurate information through inbound and outbound phone calls as well as email communications.
• Make outbound calls to patients and caregivers to arrange, confirm, and follow up on medical appointments.
• Handle incoming calls related to appointment scheduling and patient assistance.
• Organize, reschedule, and coordinate medical appointments according to the needs of patients and caregivers.
• Respond to questions regarding appointment specifics, availability, timing, and related details.
• Provide updates on the availability of test results and expected turnaround times, when applicable.
• Keep precise and detailed records of customer interactions, appointments, and communications.
• Execute administrative and customer service support tasks as necessary.
• Offer professional and high-quality customer service to ensure satisfaction for both patients and caregivers.
• Verify insurance eligibility, billing, and prior authorizations.
• Manage DME and DME insurance processes.
• Assist operations in Urgent Care, medical offices, DME, or similar healthcare environments.
• Review insurance benefits, coverage, deductibles, copays, and coinsurance.
• Perform additional duties related to the role as assigned.
• Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities with clients, vendors, and colleagues.
• Previous experience in insurance eligibility verification, insurance billing, and prior authorizations is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with Durable Medical Equipment (DME) and DME insurance processes.
• Experience in Urgent Care, a medical office, DME, or a similar healthcare setting is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of insurance benefits, coverage, deductibles, copays, and coinsurance is preferred.
• Familiar with insurance portals, EMR/EHR systems, and billing or authorization platforms.
• Excellent attention to detail and capability to maintain accurate records.
• Superior organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Willingness to work U.S. EST (New York) business hours and adapt to business requirements.
