This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
• Deliver Avantor solutions to healthcare clients across designated market segments.
• Oversee a territory comprising numerous customers from various industries.
• Identify and onboard new clients by managing a sales pipeline and creating and presenting proposals.
• Engage in consultative selling by understanding customer requirements, suggesting solutions, and communicating the value of products and services.
• Collaborate with sales management to formulate strategic territory plans aimed at boosting sales growth and achieving quotas.
• Work in conjunction with sales leadership to create proposals and implement growth strategies.
• Foster and maintain customer relationships while ensuring satisfaction and loyalty.
• Manage Avantor's product offerings and execute sales and marketing strategies defined by the company.
• Enhance Avantor's footprint within existing accounts through retention and growth initiatives.
• Utilize company marketing resources, strategies, and sales methodologies effectively.
• Establish and nurture relationships with manufacturer partners.
• Collaborate with local manufacturer representatives to enhance product knowledge, secure favorable pricing, and increase account profitability.
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience, education, and training.
• 3–5 years of experience in a complex sales environment with multiple stakeholders and solution-based selling.
• Demonstrated and verifiable sales success in driving growth through consultative and strategic selling approaches.
• Experience in business-to-business sales.
• Familiarity with selling methodologies such as SPIN, Challenger, or Miller Heiman.
• Proficient in Salesforce.com and Qlikview.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Experience with Microsoft Teams is preferred.
• A background in science or manufacturing research is preferred.
• Experience in distribution sales.
• Exceptional communication and team interaction abilities.
• Capability to engage and influence business owners and key decision-makers.
• Competence in managing challenging situations and interactions.
• Ability to work autonomously and effectively manage time and territory.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop and implement strategic account growth plans.
• Quick understanding of customer operations, business challenges, and purchasing motivators.
• Extensive travel within the region to customer locations is required.
