This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Collaborate with divisional operations leaders, clinical teams, department managers, and administrative leaders to pinpoint opportunities for procurement, sourcing, standardization, and cost reduction.
• Align procurement initiatives with operational, clinical, financial, and strategic goals.
• Analyze purchasing data, spending patterns, supplier usage, and market conditions.
• Develop and present procurement recommendations and sourcing opportunities for leadership evaluation.
• Lead negotiations with vendors regarding pricing, contract terms, service levels, product standardization, rebates, and value-added services.
• Support supplier selection, contract management, vendor performance assessments, and sourcing initiatives.
• Act as a liaison among vendors, operational departments, accounting, and leadership to facilitate purchasing activities and address issues.
• Establish and enhance procurement workflows, standard operating procedures, and purchasing processes.
• Maintain procurement records, contracts, pricing agreements, and vendor documentation.
• Monitor contract renewals and ensure compliance with requirements.
• Assist in the development of procurement policies, procedures, controls, and best practices.
• Keep abreast of industry trends, pricing fluctuations, supply chain risks, and market developments.
• Uphold confidentiality regarding pricing, contracts, vendor relationships, and organizational information.
• Travel to company locations and vendor meetings as needed.
• Perform other assigned responsibilities.
• A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Operations Management, Healthcare Administration, or a related field is preferred.
• Professional certification in procurement or supply chain (CPSM, CPM, CPPB, or equivalent) is preferred.
• A minimum of five years of progressive experience in procurement, purchasing, sourcing, supply chain, healthcare operations, finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience in leading vendor negotiations and managing supplier relationships is required.
• Experience in identifying cost-saving opportunities, performing spend analysis, and supporting sourcing initiatives is preferred.
• Experience in healthcare and/or multi-site organizations is preferred.
• Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to analyze complex data and convert findings into actionable recommendations.
• Capacity to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
• Effective presentation, written communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
