Healthcare Legal Studies Adjunct

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver high-quality instruction for each assigned course within the approved academic program curriculum.

• Respond promptly to information requests from both institutional and external stakeholders, as necessary.

• Uphold appropriate standards of linguistic expression in both written and verbal communications.

• Ensure that all academic program requirements and documentation, including clinical evaluations and competency assessments, are completed and submitted by set deadlines.

• Fulfill all faculty obligations on a weekly basis.

• Appropriately manage classroom activities.

• Maintain reasonable accessibility to students for inquiries and support.

• Stay informed about educational and professional literature to identify best practices related to the courses taught.

• Assist with curricular and policy modifications as requested by the Dean/Department Chair.

• Help in the selection of new textbooks when deemed appropriate.

• Report directly to the Department Chair of the Legal Studies program for the Online Campus.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of a Juris Doctorate (J.D.) is required.

• At least 18 graduate credit hours in Healthcare Administration.

• A minimum of 18 credit hours in healthcare administration or a related healthcare background.

• Preference will be given to those candidates who have effectively taught Legal Studies courses online.
