This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Play a key role in advancing the mission of Isaacson, Miller, a national executive search firm dedicated to leadership recruitment within the civic sector.
• Assist Partners in cultivating client relationships, generating business, and ensuring the effective execution of searches.
• Manage multiple search projects concurrently in the fields of healthcare, academic medicine, and health sciences.
• Define positions with clients by conducting site visits or meetings to collect insights about roles, organizational challenges, and aspirations.
• Compose, edit, and proofread position descriptions.
• Carry out thorough research and create diverse candidate pools utilizing the firm’s proprietary database.
• Formulate and execute networking strategies in collaboration with Partners.
• Attract and evaluate candidates through phone and email communications.
• Assess candidate qualifications, credibility, achievements, and fit within the organization through research and interviews.
• Foster positive relationships with clients, candidates, and sources.
• Present candidate pools during in-person and virtual client meetings.
• Prepare memos and supplementary documents, ensuring they are accurate, clear, and consistent.
• Manage candidate, source, and client information within the firm’s database.
• Update Partners on search progress, market feedback, and candidate circumstances.
• Supervise the flow of candidate information to clients alongside Search Coordinators.
• Conduct candidate references and oversee due diligence, timelines, and client presentations.
• Familiarity with healthcare and the organizational dynamics and challenges faced by hospitals and healthcare systems today.

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Two to eight years of progressively responsible professional experience.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Maturity and discretion in maintaining strong relationships, often involving confidentiality.
• Ability to establish rapport with individuals at all levels within an organization.
• Skill in extracting and articulating client organizations’ ambitions and challenges persuasively.
• Competence in evaluating candidates’ achievements, credibility, and fit using evidence-based assessment methods.
• Initiative and ability to work independently while knowing when to seek guidance.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail and conscientiousness in delivering high-quality work.
