This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland, +1 more state.
• Surpass the yearly target for acquiring new Bend health partners.
• Motivate senior executives at prominent companies to prioritize mental health as a critical issue.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities both independently and in partnership with Bend and Lyra lead generation teams.
• Inform partner leadership about the US mental health care system and the benefits offered by Bend.
• Articulate Bend’s unique value proposition effectively through verbal, written, and quantitative communication.
• Engage in negotiations with medical directors, administrators, network contracting, finance, and procurement executives.
• Track deal progress to supply Bend with necessary data for business growth.
• Collaborate with Bend and Lyra’s Customer Success team to ensure successful implementations and ongoing client support.
• Foster relationships with contracted health systems to enhance referral volume and broaden the range of covered and referred services.
• Develop strategic partnerships with health system and payer executives.
• Utilize consultative selling and customized solutions to influence decision-making processes.
• Convey complex ideas to senior leaders in both clinical and business environments.
• Navigate intricate contracting discussions and align stakeholders to secure mutually beneficial outcomes.
• Work together with Customer Success, Product, Marketing, and Finance teams.
• Over 5 years of experience in sales, business development, consulting, or related roles.
• Preferred experience in direct sales to health systems or consulting within health systems.
• Proficient negotiator regarding business contract terms.
• Keen interest in understanding the US healthcare system.
• Strong passion for mental health advocacy.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong quantitative abilities and capability to derive insights from data.
• Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time.
• Background in project management.
• Competent in Excel, Google Sheets, PowerPoint, and Google Slides.
• Demonstrated tenacity and persistence.
• Strong intellectual curiosity.
• Ability to cultivate strategic relationships with health system and payer executives.
• In-depth understanding of the US healthcare and mental health landscape.
• Eligible for commission payments.
