This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa, +2 more states.
• Develop and implement the strategic account plan throughout the organization and oversee its execution.
• Collaborate with Market Access and Business Unit partners to manage accounts effectively.
• Discover opportunities to enhance access and stimulate demand at the enterprise level.
• Ensure that account-level decision-making tools, including EMRs, formularies, pathways, and order sets, incorporate on-label access.
• Keep up-to-date with clinical knowledge of the enterprise portfolio and the competitive landscape.
• Adhere to GSK policies and risk management frameworks.
• Offer insights and recommendations to refine the execution of the strategic account plan.
• Track and evaluate market trends and competitive activities.
• Collect insights from aligned accounts and share information with the wider organization.
• Work alongside the Marketing team to implement marketing strategies across GSK’s product portfolio.
• Set and evaluate KPIs related to relationship health and system-of-care engagement.
• Participate in routine business reviews.
• Build and sustain relationships with key stakeholders in organized provider accounts, including service line and pharmacy leaders.
• A Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) is required.
• At least 5 years of proven experience in Health Systems, particularly in market access and/or account management within the Pharmaceutical/Life Science sector.
• A valid driver’s license is necessary.
• Willingness to travel 50–60% of the time.
• Proficient in understanding regional payers, large contracted customers, mid-sized PBMs, and coalitions.
• Strong financial acumen.
• Experience in a highly matrixed environment with the ability to influence various stakeholder groups while maintaining an enterprise perspective.
• High learning agility and capability to adjust to a changing product portfolio.
• Demonstrated initiative and proven performance in prior roles.
• Strong account selling skills with the ability to expand business through strategic planning and implementation.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Capability to apply Compliance Policies and Procedures in unpredictable and dynamic situations.
• Familiarity with patient privacy laws, including HIPAA and similar state regulations.
• Proficient in presentation and negotiation techniques.
