Health Screener – Fixed-Term, Full-time Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.

📋 Description

• Perform wellness screenings at various client locations.

• Gather blood samples from clients.

• Take measurements of blood pressure, pulse, height, weight, and waist circumference.

• Execute surveillance, audiometry, spirometry, and VDU screenings.

• Organize and dismantle pop-up screening clinics at client sites.

• Clean and maintain all screening equipment.

• Ensure proper storage and disposal of medical waste.

• Offer general advice on healthy lifestyle practices as needed.

• Utilize Medmark’s software system to maintain accurate client assessment records.

⛳️ Requirements

• Relevant qualifications in nursing, phlebotomy, and/or health surveillance.

• Demonstrated experience in phlebotomy.

• Desirable qualifications for administering vaccinations, though not mandatory.

• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, empathy, and listening abilities.

• Strong organizational and planning capabilities, including effective time management.

• Proven ability to prioritize key tasks and achieve high professional standards.

• Capacity to establish and maintain productive working relationships.

• Own transport is essential.

• Garda vetted.

• Willingness to work at client sites across the country.

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

• Proficient IT skills and experience with electronic health records.
