Health, Safety and Environment Coordinator – Nights

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Oversee initiatives aimed at minimizing health, safety, security, and environmental risks in accordance with the Group and Site HSE Business Plans.

• Assist in the evaluation, development, and implementation of HSE Risk Assessments, Safe Operating Procedures, and training materials.

• Ensure effective adherence to site HSE policies, procedures, and systems.

• Aid in the reporting and investigation of accidents and incidents.

• Support HSE audit programs to guarantee compliance with UK legislation and Gousto standards.

• Appropriately challenge unsafe behaviors and escalate issues as necessary.

• Collaborate with the site team to identify and address gaps in HSE standards.

• Perform inventory checks of First Aid supplies.

• Execute various administrative tasks as required.

• Report directly to the Health, Safety & Environment Manager.

• Contribute to HSE programs and initiatives aimed at creating a safe and sustainable work environment for approximately 500 colleagues.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in a role as a Health & Safety Administrator or Coordinator.

• Prior experience in a Warehouse, FMCG, Fulfilment, or Factory setting.

• A strong passion, experience, and genuine interest in health and safety issues.

• Experience and/or training in drafting risk assessments and safe systems of work.

• Familiarity with workplace transport and related risks.

• Relevant professional health and safety certification is preferred, or a commitment to obtain one.

• Excellent communication abilities.

• Proficient in using IT systems.
