This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Identify and outline the relevant laws, decrees, resolutions, and ongoing reforms pertaining to the white paper, including Ley 2294 de 2023, the INVIMA reform legislation, and the government's deregulation strategy.

• Conduct and document interviews with officials from INVIMA, MinSalud, and other relevant institutions, as well as with health associations and gremios; approximately 10 interviews will be conducted across two rounds.

• Evaluate the legal viability of proposed reforms and determine the appropriate instrument and approval route for each.

• Verify all legal citations and institutional responsibilities in both the draft and final versions of the white paper.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in Colombian health law, regulation, or policy, with direct expertise related to INVIMA, MinSalud, and the legislative process.

• Established connections with government officials and sector associations.

• Proficiency in Spanish and professional working knowledge of English.

• A law degree or an advanced degree in health policy or a related discipline.

• Any affiliations with pharmaceutical companies, medical device manufacturers, insurance companies, EPS, or gremios must be disclosed.
