Corporate Compliance Administrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop, maintain, and oversee a centralized corporate compliance calendar for AKI and its subsidiaries.

• Monitor regulatory deadlines, annual reporting requirements, certifications, registrations, renewals, audits, and ongoing compliance activities.

• Keep subsidiary-specific compliance tracking records and compliance files up to date.

• Collaborate with Human Resources, Contracts, Accounting, Operations, and executive leadership to gather necessary information and documentation.

• Track deadlines, communicate required actions, and follow up with responsible personnel.

• Maintain compliance tracking logs, action item registers, status reports, dashboards, and reporting tools.

• Identify missing documentation, overdue requirements, and potential compliance issues, escalating them to the COO or relevant leadership.

• Prepare regular compliance updates, reports, summaries, and presentations for the COO and stakeholders.

• Stay informed on regulatory updates and relay relevant changes to leadership and subject matter experts.

• Assist in the administration and upkeep of CMMI and ISO compliance programs.

• Ensure process documentation, standard operating procedures, policies, work instructions, and supporting records are maintained.

• Coordinate preparations for internal assessments, external appraisals, certification audits, and surveillance audits.

• Track audit findings, process improvement initiatives, corrective actions, and follow-up activities.

• Help collect and maintain objective evidence of compliance.

• Support employee awareness, training coordination, and organizational readiness for assessments and audits.

• Assist with compliance requirements for the SBA 8(a) Business Development Program, including annual reviews, submissions, certifications, and documentation.

• Maintain records that support ANC ownership, subsidiary structures, and eligibility for government contracting.

• Assist with entity registrations, representations, and certifications in SAM.gov and other government systems.

• Collaborate with Contracts and subject matter experts regarding FAR, DFARS, and government contracting administrative compliance.

• Aid in providing documentation requested during government reviews, audits, and compliance inquiries.

• Establish and maintain a centralized compliance documentation and evidence library.

• Organize compliance evidence by entity, program, reporting period, and requirement.

• Maintain document version control, approval records, review dates, and retention tracking.

• Coordinate the collection and validation of compliance documentation and follow up on outstanding evidence requests.

• Ensure audit-ready records and accurate records of completed compliance activities are maintained.

• Manage repositories of approved corporate policies, procedures, and compliance documents.

• Coordinate reviews and updates of policies and procedures.

• Track compliance training, acknowledgments, certifications, and related documentation.

• Coordinate follow-up for audit findings, corrective action plans, and internal compliance reviews.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives through organized tracking, documentation, and administrative follow-through.

• Perform other related administrative and compliance support tasks as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• Associate's or bachelor's degree in business administration, Management, Compliance, Quality Management, or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience will be considered.

• Two to four years of experience in compliance administration, government contracting administration, quality management support, document control, or a related administrative role.

• Capacity to maintain detailed tracking systems, compliance calendars, records, and documentation.

• Strong organizational capabilities and ability to manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and SharePoint.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to coordinate effectively with multiple departments and management levels.

• High degree of accuracy, confidentiality, professionalism, and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently within established procedures and effectively follow through on assigned responsibilities.

• Preferred: experience working for a federal government contractor.

• Preferred: familiarity with SBA 8(a) Business Development Program requirements.

• Preferred: knowledge of Alaska Native Corporations or other SBA-recognized entity-owned businesses.

• Preferred: experience supporting CMMI appraisals or ISO certification audits.

• Preferred: general knowledge of FAR, DFARS, SAM.gov, and government contractor compliance requirements.

• Preferred: experience with compliance evidence libraries, document control, corrective action tracking, or audit preparation.

• Preferred: experience supporting compliance requirements across multiple legal entities or subsidiaries.

• Preferred: familiarity with quality management systems and process improvement documentation.
