This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.

• Process and handle requests for patient health information in accordance with company and facility guidelines.

• Ensure the confidentiality and security of sensitive information.

• Maintain familiarity with company and facility software.

• Follow company and customer facility codes of conduct and policies diligently.

• Notify the manager regarding work challenges, site issues, and varying workloads.

• Support additional tasks or responsibilities as needed.

• Consistently apply medical privacy regulations to prevent unauthorized disclosures.

• Oversee and protect patient health records while ensuring HIPAA compliance.

• Create new patient charts using both paper and electronic health record resources.

• Organize medical records in the standard order while ensuring accuracy and completeness.

• Generate digital images of documents for electronic medical records.

• Retrieve and appropriately send patient records in response to both internal and external requests.

• Handle inbound and outbound calls efficiently.

• Assist patients who walk in for services.

• Manage faxes, sort mail, and perform data entry tasks.

• Meet productivity expectations specific to the site.

• Schedule pick-ups as necessary.

• Undertake other assigned duties as required.


⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED is required.

• Candidates must be at least 18 years of age.

• Ability to commute between various locations as necessary.

• Must be willing to work overtime during peak periods when required.

• Basic proficiency in computer usage is essential.

• Comfortable using phones, fax machines, printers, and other standard office equipment regularly.

• Possess professional verbal and written communication skills in English.

• This position does not qualify for employment sponsorship.

• Experience in a healthcare setting is a plus.

• Previous experience in production or metric-based roles is an added advantage.

• In-person customer service experience is beneficial.

• Ability to cultivate relationships with on-site clients and customers is a bonus.

• Open to sharing new ideas, process improvement suggestions, and feedback with internal stakeholders is a plus.
