This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Integrate health economics, business analytics, and competitive intelligence into cutting-edge strategies to secure, enhance, and protect public and private market access, particularly in Quebec.
• Take ownership of national access for designated products.
• Collaborate with HEMA colleagues to formulate Quebec product strategies, which include INESSS submissions and MSSS negotiations.
• Document HEMA tactical plans, implement relevant sections, and monitor and report on cross-functional progress.
• Engage in key global teams and convey issues and priorities to VA&P and cross-functional teams.
• Establish and maintain partnerships with Access Strategy Leads.
• Uphold ethical relationships with INESSS decision makers, staff, and clinical consultants.
• Oversee strategic planning and monthly meetings for the Core Access Team concerning assigned products.
• Collaborate with the Brand Team, Marketing & Sales, Medical and Scientific Affairs, R&D, and VA&P on yearly plans.
• Develop, manage, and provide monthly reports on HEMA tactical budgets.
• Coordinate with therapeutic-area and brand teams to ensure alignment of VA&P strategies and tactics.
• Work together with Contracts and Pricing to create payer proposals and assist with RAMQ listing processes.
• Produce evidence and value propositions for pipeline products.
• Lead submissions for INESSS, CDA, provincial, and private payers, including the adaptation of global value dossiers and the creation of budget impact analyses.
• Monitor competitive intelligence in Quebec and engage in relevant external forums.
• Collaborate with Policy, Stakeholder Relations, and Brand Team members on reimbursement advocacy efforts.
• Cultivate relationships with external market access, outcomes research, and health economics vendors.
• Attend monthly Quebec Regional cross-functional field meetings as well as global Value, Access and Policy and Global Health Economics meetings.
• Bilingualism in French and English is mandatory.
• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Strong knowledge of INESSS, CDA, and provincial review agencies.
• Experience or partnerships with academia and vendors.
• Proficient in drafting, reviewing, and critiquing health economics models, reports, budget impact models, and cost calculators.
• Basic understanding of outcomes research methodologies with the capability to review or contribute to research protocols.
• Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in health economics, pharmacy, science, or quantitative methods.
• Independent, self-motivated, and capable of cross-functional teamwork.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including presentation abilities.
• Highly detail-oriented, scientifically focused, with the capability to multi-task and prioritize effectively.
