This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Oversee HEOR/RWE projects, ensuring they adhere to the highest standards, timelines, and budgets.
• Investigate potential opportunities to enhance healthcare through comprehensive research.
• Strategically collaborate with pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients.
• Identify unmet needs, challenges, and new research avenues pertinent to client portfolios.
• Provide insights and recommendations derived from data analysis and research findings to foster business growth.
• Present outcomes to global clients and communities.
• Manage various healthcare stakeholders on a project-by-project basis.
• Develop and oversee multinational observational studies.
• Report to a Senior Health Economist and contribute as part of the broader health economics team.
• Mentor and support junior colleagues, offering guidance to other health economists without line management duties.
• 3-5 years of pertinent work experience in a HEOR-focused or comparable role.
• Postgraduate qualification such as an MSc, MPH, PhD, or equivalent in Health Economics, Public Health, Outcomes Research, Epidemiology, Statistics, Economics, or another relevant quantitative discipline.
• Strong grasp of health economic evaluation methods, real-world evidence generation, observational research, and market access needs across major healthcare systems.
• Experience with burden of illness studies.
• Proficient in non-interventional/observational studies.
• Knowledge of cost-effectiveness, cost utility, and budget impact analysis.
• Familiarity with RWE, HEOR, and Market Access strategies.
• Experience conducting patient preference studies.
• Skilled in elicitation exercises.
• Competent in literature reviews.
• Experience in research dissemination through posters and manuscripts.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
• Capability to interpret and synthesize complex clinical and economic evidence.
• Experience managing projects from both timing and financial management perspectives.
• Client-facing confidence with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, PPT, Access, Outlook, and Teams.
• Experience with Stata, R, or another similar statistical software.
• Confidence in utilizing AI-powered tools to enhance research, analysis, content creation, and workflow efficiency.
• Strong leadership qualities with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
• High level of initiative, self-direction, and accountability.
• Solutions-oriented mindset with sound judgment and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven agency environment.
