Health Economics Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Contribute to the creation of health economic models that assess the cost-effectiveness of health technologies for global reimbursement initiatives.

• Conduct data analysis.

• Assist in the construction of models.

• Support senior team members in executing projects.

• Deliver high-quality, prompt, scientific, and strategic solutions to address client requirements.

• Work on current Health Economics models and begin country-specific adaptations.

• Evaluate health economic models using suitable software tools to clarify and convey the economic value of clients’ products.

• Conduct systematic searches for health economic models published in scientific literature and from Health Technology Assessment (HTA) organizations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient computing skills (MS Office).

• Advanced Excel knowledge, including the ability to write macros and VBA.

• Strong analytical skills.

• High level of written accuracy and meticulous attention to detail.

• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, particularly in conveying technical information.

• Self-motivated, enthusiastic, ambitious, and adaptable.

• Proficiency in English.

• Genuine interest in medical research, healthcare provision, and the pharmaceutical sector.

• Over 2 years of experience with programming and software such as VBA, SAS, or R is advantageous.

• Training and/or experience in health economics and/or outcomes would be beneficial.

• Relevant experience in a similar role would be a plus.

• Master’s degree or equivalent in a life science or quantitative field, such as health economics, economics, mathematics, or statistics.
