This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership and oversee the implementation projects for both new and existing self-funded health benefit clients from the initial kickoff to the go-live stage.
• Create, manage, and uphold comprehensive implementation project plans, including timelines, milestones, deliverables, and tracking documentation.
• Facilitate implementation kickoff meetings, status updates, and other client-centric discussions with client leadership, brokers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• Collect, document, and validate client requirements associated with the setup and implementation of benefit plans.
• Coordinate implementation efforts across internal operational teams and external partners to guarantee accurate and timely delivery.
• Identify project risks, dependencies, delays, and implementation challenges, guiding them towards resolution.
• Manage multiple implementations and competing deadlines while ensuring clear ownership of deliverables and follow-up actions.
• Clearly communicate project status, risks, decisions, and next steps to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate implementation requirements related to self-funded medical plans and associated benefit services such as claims administration, eligibility, HSAs, FSAs, COBRA, and other relevant services.
• Cultivate strong working relationships with clients, brokers, vendors, and cross-functional internal teams.
• Maintain accurate implementation documentation and contribute to the ongoing enhancement of implementation processes, templates, and standards.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• A minimum of 2 years of direct experience in health insurance, TPA, or employee benefits implementation.
• Proven experience in implementing or supporting self-funded employer health benefit plans.
• Experience in managing implementation projects that involve multiple internal departments, external partners, and client stakeholders.
• Strong project management and coordination skills, including the ability to create and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables.
• Demonstrated experience leading client-facing implementation meetings, kickoff meetings, and discussions with stakeholders.
• Working knowledge of the self-funded benefits/TPA environment, including claims administration, eligibility, plan setup, HSAs, FSAs, and COBRA.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and priorities while adhering to established deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with client management and internal leadership.
• Strong problem-solving abilities to identify implementation risks and drive issues to resolution.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, and the ability to learn web-based implementation/project management systems.
• Associate’s degree or relevant industry experience equivalent.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% during peak implementation periods.
• Must meet employment eligibility verification requirements through E-Verify.
