
Head of Wrap Installation Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and implement Slate's national wrap installation network across various regional centers in the United States.
• Formulate the field operating model, encompassing staffing strategies, partner capabilities, capacity models, standard operating procedures, quality systems, escalation protocols, and performance management routines.
• Design and execute Lean operating systems focusing on safety, quality, productivity, customer satisfaction, and ongoing improvement.
• Create and roll out standardized training and certification programs for installers, team leads, and site management.
• Establish workforce development strategies that facilitate career progression from apprentice to expert and support the scaling of the installer workforce.
• Promote operational excellence via daily management practices, KPI assessments, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Logistics, Product Development, Customer Experience, and Quality teams.
• Develop capacity plans for the network that align with vehicle volume growth and service-level commitments.
• Implement operational visibility and accountability measures, including performance dashboards, site inspections, and standardized reporting.
• Lead regional operations leaders and site management teams.
• Standardize quality systems across regional centers.
• Regularly travel to field locations for launches, coaching, operational assessments, and continuous improvement efforts.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Business, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.
• Over 12 years of experience in field operations, manufacturing, service operations, aftermarket installations, or similar operational leadership positions.
• Extensive hands-on experience in vehicle wraps, automotive customization, graphics installation, aftermarket accessories, or similar installation settings.
• Proven track record of scaling multi-site operations and leading geographically dispersed teams.
• Comprehensive understanding of Lean principles, standard work, visual management, flow, capacity planning, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to build operational systems, training initiatives, and performance management processes from the ground up.
• Experience in leading large frontline teams and nurturing future leaders.
• Strong analytical skills, with expertise in managing operational KPIs, productivity metrics, quality indicators, and financial performance.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Willingness and capability to travel extensively to support field operations and the launch of new sites.
• Leadership experience in automotive, aftermarket, retail services, logistics, or field services.
• Experience with network design, capacity modeling, and regional operations management.
